Alcatel-OT-808

Alcatel mobile phones have obviously made the Alcatel OT-808 to appeal to the female half of the human race, as this handset is designed to fit snugly inside a handbag and look just like any other piece of makeup kit that resides there. You won’t see many footballers or builders walking around with this one. With it’s chunky pink design and reflective surface that allows you to check out that annoying pimple, there’s no getting away from this primarily feminine offering.

Unfortunately the features of this mobile phone are lacking majorly. If you want to browse the Internet for a new pair of shoes, it’s going to be a slow affair without 3G or Wi-Fi support. You do get a good-sized QWERTY keyboard however, so sending text messages won’t be a problem. An Alcatel OT-808 review however is let down by the user interface that isn’t at all intuitive, and the dated menu system leaves even the most tech-savvy person confused.

But really, the Alcatel OT-808 is more of a fashion statement than a serious phone. You can make calls, send texts, pretend to be on the Internet, and that’s about it, but at least you’ll look good doing it.
