- Samsung B2710 (also known as Xcover 271) is an update on Samsung’s tough and rugged phone B2700.
- It is an IP67 certified handset and is completely dustproof and waterproof for a depth of up to 1 meter for thirty minutes. In addition to that it is also shock and drop resistant. All of its ports are hidden under waterproof panels though it would be wiser to check that everything is sealed before getting it wet.
- Despite being Samsung’s most rugged phone it does not compromise on the features. The helpful outdoor features of Samsung B2710 include dedicated flashlight, Pedometer, Altimeter, Stopwatch and a Digital Compass. The handset also features a web browser and email client and above all the B2710 comes with a built-in GPS and Google Maps.
- The Samsung B2710 showcases a 2 megapixels camera capable of capturing still images and videos. It also has Bluetooth 2.1, quad-band GSM and UMTS connectivity
