While Apple, Samsung and many other manufacturers continue to dominate the higher-end phone market,  ZTE have continued to silently produce quality smartphones for an extremely low price. In this post, we'll have a look at the ZTE's budget V series - the more popular V2, V6 and V Plus models. You'll be amazed at the amount of features ZTE is able to pack in such affordable phones.

ZTE Blade V2ZTE Blade V2

Features at a glance: 4G/LTE with Band 28, 5" 720p IPS screen, 8MP and 5MP cameras, 8GB ROM and 1GB RAM,

The most affordable of the Blade V models, the ZTE Blade V2 has a lot to offer for the price. It has 4G/LTE bands, allowing you to access fast 4G networks, however most impressive is its access to Band 28, an extremely fast band that Telstra and Optus use in cities.

The V2 also has a great 5" IPS screen, with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. This is also very impressive as many other phones near its price range only have 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It's 8 Megapixel back camera and 5 Megapixel camera is also worthy of note, being able to take decent quality photos despite its cheap price.

One downside is that the ZTE Blade V2 only comes with 8 GB of onboard storage. however that is not a problem as you are able to expand your storage through a MicroSD Card of up to 32 GB if you need extra space.

ZTE Blade V6ZTE Blade V6

Features at a glance: 4G/LTE with Band 28, 5" 720p IPS screen,  13MP and 5MP cameras,  16GB ROM and 2GB RAM,

The next step up in ZTE’s V series is the V6. Like the V2, it also features 4G/LTE connectivity with Band 28, and a 5” IPS screen with 720 x 1280 resolution. However where the V2 really shines is its ability to take high quality photos, featuring a 13 Megapixel back and 5 Megapixel front cameras. This makes it one of the cheapest 13 megapixel camera phones in the market right now, and your friends will never suspect that you have a budget phone with the V6.

The ZTE also improves upon the storage and RAM, having 16 GB of storage and 2 GB of memory. For most light users seeking a budget phone, these are impressive specifications as you’ll be able to download quite a few apps and run them simultaneously.

ZTE Blade V PlusZTE Blade V Plus

Features at a glance: 4G/LTE with Band 28, 5.5" Full-HD IPS screen, 13MP and 5MP cameras, 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM

Last but not least is arguably the best of the ZTE Blade line, the ZTE Blade V plus. As its name suggests, it further improves upon the V6 by featuring a large 5.5 inch Full-HD Screen. With a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, the V Plus is very detailed and bright, making it a great phone to use for reading and watching videos.

The V Plus has a 1.3GHz Octa-Core Processor, making it very snappy and fast for its price. The V Plus also features a fingerprint scanner at the rear under the camera, making unlocking and securing your phone a breeze. With all these features, you can easy justify to why many think the V Plus is a premium phone without the premium price tag.
