In producing HTC’s latest flagship, the ‘U Ultra,’ HTC has completely deviated from the traditional design that we’re all used to. But how does it stand out from the rest? We have a look at some of the key features of the U Ultra here.
Body & Screen
HTC phones such as the One M9 and 10 are known for their all-metal designs, but everything changes with the U Ultra, with HTC using what they call a ‘liquid surface’ design, featuring a colourful glass and metallic back to stand out from the rest. With a 5.7 inch screen, the U Ultra is up there with the iPhone 7 Plus and the Huawei Mate 9 as flagship big screen phones. However what makes the HTC U ultra boasts an Quad-HD screen, while the Mate 9 and iPhone 7 Plus only has Full-HD screens.
